Payton Foxworthy, Chapter President

Real Strong Women

Alpha Chi Omega was founded in 1885. Our pillars are leadership ability, character, personal development, academic interest and financial responsibility.

A Letter From Our President

Never did I ever imagine I would be leading an organization with over 200 amazing women after joining Alpha Chi my freshmen year. I remember going through the recruitment process and thinking “Wow, I want to be just like these girls”. I was so inspired by the strength, support, intelligence, determinism, and overall genuine love I could feel each girl had for each other. These feelings and experience of being surrounded by role models has not changed as I enter my final year of college. I am constantly pushed to be the best version of myself and astonished by the amazing members we have, younger and older than me. AXO has brought me more than sisters but a true home that I have learned so much from. I now understand how to love myself and am reminded each day how valued I am in this sorority. Without Alpha Chi I would not be me. Often times people don’t understand the impact a sorority can have on you, but I have learned just how life changing it can be. So many doors have opened for me including being able to get jobs, internships, connections with other AXO’s across the nation, a last minute dress for an event, coffee shop recommendations, a study buddy, and even a simple hug from a familiar face. Alpha Chi is about having each others backs and with being President my goal is to continue the love and have it grow stronger for the future members of our chapter. Each day I work hard to be the voice that Alpha Chi needs and I would not have been able to do it without the army of girls behind me. Even with the title of President I truly believe every person in our chapter leads it, everyone adds a special piece that makes us whole.

xoxo
